Hidasie Telecom Share Company is a private national distributor of telecom products through its more than 800 shops across Ethiopia. Hidasie Telecom Share Company is incorporated in July 2011 by 2,508 shareholders with financial and other resource support from the government of Ethiopia and EthioTelecom. 

Redeploying more than 2,441 previous Ethiopian Telecommunications Corporation, now named Ethio Telecom, employees, Hidasie Telecom is accessible to the public in all cities, towns, zones and districts of Ethiopia.

Hidasie Telecom Share Company is established with a total subscribed capital of Birr 74,665,700.00 (Seventy Four Million Six Hundred Sixty Five Thousand Seven Hundred Birr).

Hidasie Telecom is organized embracing dual objectives of business and social motives in a unique fashion of hybrid model through a public-private partnership arrangement. As a result, the primary objective of Hidasie Telecom is to secure value for the money of its shareholders while its secondary objective being executing social services of facilitating telecom access to bridge the digital divide that exist in Ethiopia. Hidasie Telecom is facilitating telecommunications universal access Public Call Office throughout Ethiopia, especially in remote and rural parts of the country.
